We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness? - https://legacy.quran.com/41/53

 

Brief commentary: As within, so without

 

The above are true because of structural imperatives associated with beauty. 

The structural imperatives of beauty tells us that beauty is more than skin deep because beauty appeals to our consciousness, that is to say, beauty is an object of subjective consciousness. 

This correspondence between objective beauty and subjective consciousness exhibit a lock and key structure.

In principle, the cosmos exhibits conjugation at every level. In mathematical form, conjugation is expressed as a/b=(a+b)/a=1.618. This is the well-known Golden Ratio. 

The Golden Ratio exhibits visual harmony independently of scale. 

Hence, structural beauty is exhibited everywhere in nature.
